Brush up on your spelling  wiliest playing a variety of fun and engaging games that will both entertain and strain your brain. Finish with a general catch up and a chat over a virtual cupper!

The purpose of this activity is to support clients in improving their spelling as well as vocabulary in a light non judgemental environment. A range of engaging educational games are used in this activity including:

• Crosswords: Guess the word then try to spell it

• Spelling in general: Using spelling bee lists on google

• Thesaurus Game: Clients choose a word they would like to learn another meaning for, then they try to spell that new word

• The Grocery Game: Clients go through the alphabet naming an item you can purchase from a grocery store for each letter then try to spell that word. This is also a good game for strengthening memory.

• Hang Man: Facilitator thinks of a word, tells clients how many letters are within that word, and clients try to guess what the word is in a limited amount of turns before the hangman is drawn. Clients can also be the ones who choose the word to be guessed.

The activity itself is self-paced and highly supportive, the facilitator will assist clients by using techniques such as sounding the word out, breaking the word down into manageable parts and writing down any new words clients may come across which are reviewed latter in the activity.

The cost of Beyond Vision’s Interactive Zoom groups range, depending on how many participants are involved. For example if there are

• 4 participants the cost will be $15 per hour

• 3 participants it will be $20 an hour

• 2 participants it will be $30 an hour

• Individual experience it will cost $60 an hour.

Groups will be limited to 4 participants to ensure a manageable experience for everyone involved.
