Curtis Falls, Clancy's Irish Bar & Restaurant Mt Tamborine PLUS JB's Mountain Music Shop
Outing Description
This outing will surely tick a box for everyone showcasing three enjoyable activities, including walking through a serene rainforest to witness the must see Curtis Falls, having an Irish lunch at Clancy’s as well as visiting an old fashioned country town music shop which specialises in local music.
We will start our day by having morning tea at the Pavilion Café which is within walking distance to Curtis Falls. After morning tea, we will go for a leisurely stroll on the Curtis Falls walking track until we reach the waterfall.
Note: The Curtis Falls walking track is approximately 1.5 kilometres long and contains a number of stairs to reach the bottom where the waterfall is located. The stairs are evenly spaced and there is a guide rail beside then, caution is required of you as well as a moderate level of fitness to be fully involved in this activity.
Once we have finished our walk we will make our way to Clancy's Irish Bar and Restaurant which is minutes away from Curtis Falls where we will have our lunch. At Clancy's you will get the chance to choose from meals such as cheese kransky, steak sandwiches, fish and chips, Irish stew, beef and Guinness pie, steak, crispy skin chicken breast and a ploughman’s lunch - just to name a few.
After lunch we will drive out to JB's Mountain Music Shop which is run by, you guessed it, JB! JB is a man who is a veteran musician with decades of experience writing, performing, teaching and recording music from a diverse range of styles and eras, to check out his CD collection and purchase anything that piques our interest.
Once we have finished at JB’s Music Shop we will drop you home for the conclusion of the outing.

Daytime Outing Duration – 8 hours
This outing will not be offered as a night activity due to the operation times of the businesses we will be visiting. Lastly the duration of this outing is an estimate, we will try our best to conduct the activity within the allotted hours but if we are unable to for unforeseen reasons - the total cost will be adjusted accordingly.
For all forms of support travel costs = $1/km divided by the number of participants attending the outing. Payments can be made by using NDIS funds and are added on to the total cost of services after the outing.
