Attention all green thumbs, flower fans and nature aficionados, this outing has your name on it! We are off to the newly restored natural paradise that is the Redlands Indigiscape Centre.
Cotton Tree Beach Walk
Smell the sea breeze and feel the fresh air on your face as you listen to the waves crash down on a perfect white sand beach, separate from popular tourist traps, away from the city sounds and noise that can be the soundtrack of a typical weekday. This is not a typical weekday, this serenity is a all year round occurrence at this outing’s destination.
O'Reilly's Lamington National Park
We are off on another adventure this time to the hidden gem that is O'Reilly's Lamington National Park, which is approximately 2 hours from Brisbane.
Once we arrive we will have morning tea at O'Reilly's Mountain Cafe and Gift Shop. And after we will go for a leisurely walk on one of the many forest walking tracks O'Reilly's has to offer.
Lunch will be one of three delicious options.
Maleny Cheese and Ricks Garage
We start this outing by making our way to Maleny Cheese where we will have our morning tea and have the chance to participate in a cheese tasting session.
And after our visit to Maleny Cheese it is time for lunch at the home of the 1.1-kilogram burger the one the only ‘Ricks Garage!
BBQ at Coochiemudlo Island
We will be having morning tea at Driftwood Cafe by the Bay. Driftwood Café and then making our way to Masters Street where we will park the bus and take a short walk to the Victoria Point Jetty Ferry Terminal and catch a ferry to Coochiemudlo Island.
Once at Coochie we will have our delicious BBQ lunch and then head home
Kenilworth Bakery and Mapleton Falls
We will have morning tea at the Kenilworth Bakery which is known for it’s huge selection of delicious donuts, The Kenilworth Bakery is worth the trip alone but it doesn’t stop there.
After morning tea we will go for a leisurely stroll through the serene Mapleton Falls National Park.
Then lastly for lunch we will have good old fashioned country style pub lunch at the Mapleton Public House.
Highfields’s Pioneer Village
Highfield’s staff will greet us then prepare a very special morning tea which will include authentic damper and freshly brewed billy tea. After morning tea, we will partake in a guided tour of the Highfield’s Pioneer Village which will include a chance to take a ride in a 1920’s tour bus.
Queens Esplanade Thorneside
Queens Esplanade is a 4.5k flat bay side walking track that showcases the beauty of the ocean as well as some of Thorneside’s most esteemed million dollar homes.
Before the walk we will have morning tea at the Blue Tongue Pantry which is a café that also sells health products, snacks, a variety of alternatives to full cream milk and much more.
After our walk we will have lunch at Chumley Warner's British Fish and Chips
Walkabout Creek Discovery Centre and Hills Bakery Cafe
We are off to Walkabout Creek where we will first have morning tea at the Walkabout Creek’s Discovery Centre café. After morning tea, we will explore the Discovery Centre as well as go for a walk along the Walkabout Creek bush trail.
And after lunch we will go to the Hills Bakery Cafe and then home.
Jasmin Organics Tour Mt Tamborine
This outing will draw upon all your senses. We are going to learn all about the diverse ways jasmine can be used in a guided tour of Jasmin Organics. From beauty care to healing remedies to brewing jasmine in tea you will leave this outing astonished at the many ways jasmine can be utilised in day to day life.
Old Fernvale Bakery and Walk at Wivenhoe Dam
We will start the day by having morning tea at the Pawpaw Café who are renowned for their breakfast burger. And after morning tea, we will make our way to the Old Fernvale Bakery one of the oldest bakeries in Queensland, this is where we will have lunch.
After lunch we will go for a short drive to the Wivenhoe Dam to stretch our legs and go for a bit of a stroll.
A Walk Along The Beach at Maroochydore
We will start our relaxing day out to the beach by having morning tea at Elliott’s Bistro which is a gem of a coffee shop only 500 meters away from Maroochydore Beach.
After morning tea, we will go for a walk along Maroochydore Beach. You are welcome to go for a swim, dip your feet in the water or simply sit and bask in the serene atmosphere that Maroochydore provides. And then we will go for lunch at Hello Harry’s and then have some tasty ice-cream
Ripley's Believe It or Not! Surfers Paradise
Experience the bizarre, explore the mysterious, and enjoy the weird and wonderful at Ripley's Believe It or Not! where you will find eye-popping exhibits such as the tallest man on earth, a real vampire killing kit, shrunken heads ,an incredible wedding dress made out of toilet paper and even lay your hands on a Tibetan Skull. With 9,000 Square feet of oddities, Ripley's Surfers Paradise will leave you spell bound, amazed and dazzled silly.
Tour of Springbrook Research Observatory and Natural Bridge Walk
Andre will give us a tour around his observatory as well as talk to us about everything that is space, including our solar system, constellations, black holes, UFO encounters and astronomy in general.
Natural Bridge is in the western part of Springbrook National Park, part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area. The park's Natural Bridge section features a picturesque rock formation, formed by the force of the waterfall over the basalt cave.
Ginger Factory
The Ginger Factory is a Beyond Vision favourite and doesn’t need much introduction. For those who have never heard of the Ginger Factory, it has just about everything you would ever want in an outing.
From guided tours of a ginger factory where you will learn the process of farming ginger and how it makes its way to our grocery stores and into some of our favourite products, to an extensive information session with a bee keeper who will teach you everything there is to know about the nature of bees.
Clifton’s Historical Museum/ Sister Kenny’s Memorial and Rudd’s Pub
We are going on a road trip! To visit 3 separate historical destinations. First we will have morning tea at a café on the way then we are off to visit the Clifton Historical Museum. Next we make our way to Sister Kenny’s Memorial in Nobby. And lastly we will have lunch at one of the most historic pubs in Queensland ‘The Rudd’s Pub’ also known as the ‘Steel Rudd’s Pub’
Tour of the Jondaryan Woolshed and a Barbeque Lunch
Enjoy a road trip to the out skirts of Toowoomba where you will take part in a guided tour of a faired-income Aussie sheep shearing station. Before the tour starts experience the true-blue Ocker Australian hospitality of the stations staff when for morning tea, they will make you, orthidic, Australian-style Devonshire Tea as well as freshly made damper.

Our destination for this outing will take us to the Blackall ranges on the Sunshine Coast, where we will find the Mary Cairncross conservation park around 90 km from Brisbane. Mary Cairncross Reserve is home to 55 hectares of sub-tropical rainforest as well as an astonishing array of wildlife.
