Highfields’s Pioneer Village
Outing Description
We are off on a road trip to the Heightfield’s Pioneer Villages in Toowoomba which is approximately one hour and fifty minutes’ drive from the CBD.
Once there, Heightfield’s staff will greet us then prepare a very special morning tea which will include authentic damper and freshly brewed billy tea. There will also be coffee that you can purchase from the Heightfield’s Pioneer Village Café if that is more your style.
After morning tea, we will partake in a guided tour of the Heightfield’s Pioneer Village which will include a chance to take a ride in a 1920’s tour bus. The bus tour will come at an extra cost and is completely optional.
After our tour we will have lunch at the Highfields Pioneer Village Café where you can choose from a range of open grilled sandwiches, salads and savoury pastries. You may also bring your own lunch if you prefer.
After lunch we will drop you home for the conclusion of the outing.

Daytime Outing Duration – 8 hours
This outing will not be offered as a night activity due to the operation times of the businesses we will be visiting. Lastly the duration of this outing is an estimate, we will try our best to conduct the activity within the allotted hours but if we are unable to for unforeseen reasons - the total cost will be adjusted accordingly.
For all forms of support travel costs = $1/km divided by the number of participants attending the outing. Payments can be made by using NDIS funds and are added on to the total cost of services after the outing.
