Ripley's Believe It or Not! Surfers Paradise
Experience the bizarre, explore the mysterious, and enjoy the weird and wonderful at Ripley's Believe It or Not! where you will find eye-popping exhibits such as the tallest man on earth, a real vampire killing kit, shrunken heads ,an incredible wedding dress made out of toilet paper and even lay your hands on a Tibetan Skull. With 9,000 Square feet of oddities, Ripley's Surfers Paradise will leave you spell bound, amazed and dazzled silly.
Outing Description
We will start our day by having morning tea at Annie’s Coffee House in Helensvale where locals say the dirty chai latte are worth the trip alone.
After morning tea, we will make our way to Helensvale train station where we will park the mini bus and transfer into a tram. We will then catch the tram to Cavill Avenue Tram Station and walk to Ripley's Believe It or Not Surfers Paradise which is approximately a 7 minute walk.
Once there we will partake in an guided tour of Ripley’s, which will allow you the chance to explore everything Ripley’s has to offer. The tour will go for 45minutes to an hour and will include a head set for those who require one.
For lunch we are going to the Hogs Breath Café, which is approximately a 5 minute walk from Ripley’s. At Hogs Breath Café you can choose from a wide range of steak, chicken and seafood meals as well as a $10 lunch special which includes your choice between freshly crumbed chicken or beef schnitzel served with hog tail fries and gravy, salt and pepper calamari salad, cheesy steak burger, grilled chicken caesar wrap, hog’s club sandwich, beer battered whiting and fries or a chicken guacamole burger.
After lunch we will walk back to the Cavill Avenue Tram Station ,catch a tram to Helensvale station, transfer into the mini bus then transport you home for the conclusion of the outing.

Daytime Outing Duration – 8 hours
This outing will not be offered as a night activity due to the operation times of the businesses we will be visiting. Lastly the duration of this outing is an estimate, we will try our best to conduct the activity within the allotted hours but if we are unable to for unforeseen reasons - the total cost will be adjusted accordingly.
For all forms of support travel costs = $1/km divided by the number of participants attending the outing. Payments can be made by using NDIS funds and are added on to the total cost of services after the outing.
