A Walk Along Sandgate Sand Flats
Outing Description
Sometimes the simplest outing ideas are the most enjoyable. This is the intention for our trip to the Sandgate Sand Flats.
On this outing, we will have the opportunity to feel the fresh sea breeze on our face and the soothing wrinkles of wet sand underneath our feet and by the end of the day, we will feel relaxed, renewed and ready to renter our lives with ease.
We will start the day by having morning tea at Bangin Beans who make an almond croissant that is so good you will want to write home about it.
After morning tea, we will embark on our peaceful walk along the Sandgate sand flats, and if weather permits, we will even fly a kite.
For lunch we will go to the Sandgate Fishmonger who not only have the freshest fish and chips in town but they are also known for having award winning calamari rings that are so big they will fit around your wrist.
After lunch, we will make our way to the Shorncliffe Pier for a short walk after which we will have the chance to enjoy an ice cream.
Once we have finished our ice cream, we will surely be feeling completely at ease and ready to drop your home for the conclusion of the outing.
Prices
Daytime Outing Duration – 7 hours
This outing will not be offered as a night activity due to the operation times of the businesses we will be visiting. Lastly the duration of this outing is an estimate, we will try our best to conduct the activity within the allotted hours but if we are unable to for unforeseen reasons - the total cost will be adjusted accordingly
For all forms of support travel costs = $1/km divided by the number of participants attending the outing. Payments can be made by using NDIS funds and are added on to the total cost of services after the outing.
