Twinnies Pelican and Seabird Rescue
Outing Description
Paula and Bridgette Powers who run Twinnies Pelican and Seabird Rescue have been rescuing and treating Pelicans and sea birds on the Sunshine Coast for more than 16 Years. In that time the Twinnies have helped thousands of birds from numerous species all across the coast!
During this outing Paula and Bridgette will share with us stories about their life passions whilst you get the chance to come face to face with some of the Sunshine Coast’s most precious winged wonders.
Along the way we will have morning tea at the Sandbar Café and lunch at Buck's Bakery which is a country town bakery with a heap of charm.
After lunch we will drop you home for the conclusion of the outing.
Prices
Daytime Outing Duration – 8 hours
This outing will not be offered as a night activity due to the operation times of the businesses we will be visiting. Lastly the duration of this outing is an estimate, we will try our best to conduct the activity within the allotted hours but if we are unable to for unforeseen reasons - the total cost will be adjusted accordingly.
For all forms of support travel costs = $1/km divided by the number of participants attending the outing. Payments can be made by using NDIS funds and are added on to the total cost of services after the outing.
