Boombana Walk and Picnic Lunch
Outing Description
It could be said that Boombana is one of Brisbane’s most hidden scenic gems, it is an off-road picnic area with one of the most stunning walking tracks you will quite possibly ever step foot on. The track we will be walking on is called the Pitta Circuit, which is approximately a 40 minute round trip, which winds through towering ghost gums, bush orchids and a 700-hundred year old fig tree. To give you some perspective – that is older than Brisbane itself!
We will start the day by having morning tea at Cafe in the Mountains which prides itself on its picturesque views and freshly made breakfast rolls and toasted salmon bagels.
After morning tea, we will make our way to the Boombana walking track for a leisurely stroll and a chance to soak up nature’s wonders. Note: The Boombana walking track will require you to have a moderate level of fitness to be fully involved.
For lunch Peter will make his famous wraps, which will include your choice of: roast chicken and salad, ham and salad or roast chicken and honey soy stir fried vegetables. There will also be a selection of chips, crackers and dips, soft drinks and water.
Note: Please let Peter know what your choice is for lunch ASAP so lunch can be prepared ahead of time.
After lunch, we will drop you home for the conclusion of the outing.

Daytime Outing Duration – 8 hours
This outing will not be offered as a night activity due to the operation times of the businesses we will be visiting. Lastly the duration of this outing is an estimate, we will try our best to conduct the activity within the allotted hours but if we are unable to for unforeseen reasons - the total cost will be adjusted accordingly.
For all forms of support travel costs = $1/km divided by the number of participants attending the outing. Payments can be made by using NDIS funds and are added on to the total cost of services after the outing.
