Chambers Flat Strawberry Farm

The time is ripe for strawberry picking with some of the juiciest, sweetest strawberries found just forty minutes from Brisbane at the Chambers Flat Strawberry Farm. Chambers Flat provides strawberries by the box or you can pick your own. Visitors can clamber among the strawberry plants picking the plumpest, best berries and placing them in their punnets.

Once you've filled your container, take it to the farm shop where it is weighed and paid by the kilo. Take home or enjoy your farm fresh berries in the lovely, rural setting with picnic tables and small playground provided. The farm gift shop also sells homemade strawberry ice-cream, chocolate dipped strawberries, strawberry jams, farm fresh eggs and espresso.

Outing Description

We will start our day by having morning tea at the Devon Pixies café who are known in the Loganholme area for their freshly homemade scones and vast selection of teas.

After morning tea, we will partake in a guided tour of the Chambers Flat Strawberry Farm, which will allow you the chance to learn about how strawberries are grown and pick your own that you can eat immediately or take home at the end of the day.

Then we will visit the farm’s gift shop where you can purchase the many products as listed above.

For lunch we are going to Thom and Ann's Restaurant Deli in Yarrabilba where you can choose from a wide array of gourmet sandwiches, wraps, toasties and freshly marinated meats from the deli’s open grill.

After lunch we will drop you home for the conclusion of the outing.
