Cotton Tree Beach Walk
Outing Description
Smell the sea breeze and feel the fresh air on your face as you listen to the waves crash down on a perfect white sand beach, separate from popular tourist traps, away from the city sounds and noise that can be the soundtrack of a typical weekday. This is not a typical weekday, this serenity is a all year round occurrence at this outing’s destination.
We will start this outing by having morning tea at The Silva Spoon Café in Cotton Tree which is a tea and coffee emporium that houses a vast selection of teas as well as a good quality cup of coffee as well as a selection of cakes.
After our morning tea we will make our way to the Cotton Tree beach for a walk and if you choose to, a swim. If you do go for a swim a CSW will support you to find a spot to swim and to stay within the flags.
After our walk/swim we will have lunch at The Boat Shed where you will be able to purchase a number of bayside meals including fish and chips, steak, Moreton bay bugs, chicken dishes, salads and much more.
Once we have finished our lunch we will drop you home for the conclusion of the outing.
Prices
Daytime Outing Duration – 8 hours
This outing will not be offered as a night activity due to the operation times of the businesses we will be visiting. Lastly the duration of this outing is an estimate, we will try our best to conduct the activity within the allotted hours but if we are unable to for unforeseen reasons - the total cost will be adjusted accordingly.
For all forms of support travel costs = $1/km divided by the number of participants attending the outing. Payments can be made by using NDIS funds and are added on to the total cost of services after the outing.
