O'Reilly's Lamington National Park
Outing Description
We are off on another adventure this time to the hidden gem that is O'Reilly's Lamington National Park, which is approximately 2 hours from Brisbane.
Once we arrive we will have morning tea at O'Reilly's Mountain Cafe and Gift Shop. You can also take this time to have a look around the gift shop which will sell knickknacks and collectables that are unique to O'Reilly's.
After morning tea, we will go for a leisurely walk on one of the many forest walking tracks O'Reilly's has to offer.
On our walk we will get the opportunity to take in and explore the phenomenal beauty that envelops O'Reilly's National Park which includes native wild life and fauna that create a 360 degree audio landscape experience.
For lunch there will be three options,
Option 1 - Peter will make up some wraps; your choices for wraps will include ham and salad, chicken and salad or stir fried chicken and vegetables in garlic and sweet soy sauce. Wraps will come with a drink; your drink choices include a can of Coke, Sprite or a bottle of water, there will also be a desert option which will include your choice of a chocolate flake or Picnic Bar.
Option 2 – You can buy lunch from the O'Reilly's Café, which will sell basic café meals.
Option 3 – You are welcome to bring your own lunch.
Note: this outing will require you to have a moderate level of fitness in regards to walking to be fully involved in the activity.
Lastly after lunch we will drop you home for the conclusion of the outing.
Prices
Daytime Outing Duration – 8 hours
This outing will not be offered as a night activity due to the operation times of the businesses we will be visiting. Lastly the duration of this outing is an estimate, we will try our best to conduct the activity within the allotted hours but if we are unable to for unforeseen reasons - the total cost will be adjusted accordingly.
For all forms of support travel costs = $1/km divided by the number of participants attending the outing. Payments can be made by using NDIS funds and are added on to the total cost of services after the outing.
